I founded Kelley Kouture to redefine what high-end footwear can mean for women today. For me, this journey began not with fashion—but with transformation.
After a life-altering surgery, which affected my balance and the ability to wear the high heels I once loved—the shoes that made me feel confident, powerful, and unstoppable throughout my years as an executive, leading teams and standing on stage. Suddenly, what had always symbolized strength no longer fit my reality. The heels were too high, the shapes too narrow, the padding too thin. What may have seemed like a small change to others was, for me, a deeply personal loss.
That experience changed everything.
The Deep Dive
My search for modern, stylish footwear that embraced both comfort and sophistication opened my eyes to a truth too many women know: in fashion, beauty often comes at the expense of well-being. I realized women deserve more—and I decided to do something about it.
I immersed myself in the world of footwear. I joined industry associations, volunteered with Shoes for a Cure, worked with experienced consultants, collaborated with designers and product experts, and focused on learning every aspect of what it takes to create exceptional shoes. What I discovered was simple: what I was looking for didn’t exist.
So I put together a team and together we started to create it.
The End Result
Italian craftsmanship is at the heart of every design, with each pair meticulously constructed by skilled artisans in Italy. The materials are thoughtfully selected, reflecting the same standards found among the world’s most distinguished luxury houses.
What we have created is more than a footwear collection—it is a personal journey. One that is designed to offer not just a shoe, but a truly considered experience.
